Lacrosse is a wonderful traditional sport which combines many elements of the major sports. While lacrosse is a contact sport, much of the physical contact is not allowed by youth programs until players are mature enough physically and emotionally to handle it. Thus your child will be ensured a relatively safe environment in which to learn the basics of the game. The action in lacrosse is constant, and players on the field will get a wonderful workout.
